III. GCE Applicants
Passes in three (3) A-Level subjects including at least one of: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Accounting (pass in Mathematics is an advantage)
At least one pass must be Grade D or better
Credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE O-Level subjects including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject
I. WASSCE Applicants
Six (6) credits (A1–C6) in all subjects including English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science
C6 or better in at least three (3) elective subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition, Elective Mathematics
II. SSSCE / WASSCE Applicants
Six (6) credit passes (A–C) in all subjects including English, Core Mathematics, and Core Science

III. Technician Applicants
SLT Part One Certificate plus C6 in English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science
IV. HND Applicants
HND in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Production, Food and Beverage, Food Science, or Nutrition with Second Class Lower Division
Admission to Second Year
HND HCIM or HND SLT holders admitted to Second Year after a 2-month bridging course

At least five (5) credit passes in GCE O-Level including English and Mathematics
Three (3) passes in relevant subjects at the A-Level obtained within five (5) years
IV. HND and Diploma Applicants
HND graduates with Second Class Lower Division admitted to third year (5th semester)
Other relevant Diploma holders may be admitted to second year (3rd semester)
V. Mature Applicants
Must be 25 years or older at the time of application
Proof of age required (birth certificate or official documentation)
Must pass the mature entrance examination in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge
Relevant working experience is an advantage
VI. International Applicants
Academic records will be assessed by GTEC for qualification equivalence, eligibility, and placement
